Getting there
Siggesta Gård is precisely as far away as an oasis of peace and tranquillity needs to be – no farther. It is 36 km from Slussen to be exact. We are close to trails, roads and the water.
By car
By car from Stockholm, Nacka and Värmdö: take road no. 222 from Slussen towards Värmdö, past Gustavsberg and straight ahead at the first roundabout. After the reversible lanes end in a roundabout, turn left onto road no. 274 towards Vaxholm. After Hemmsta, turn left at the crossroads, and continue towards Vaxholm. Continue straight ahead, and you will reach the farm 3 km after Värmdö Church. The trip takes approx. 30 min.
By car from Vaxholm: take the ferry across Rindö and Oxdjupet to Värmdö. From the ferry port, at Stenslätten, take road no. 274 towards Hemmesta/Gustavsberg (approx. 7 km). The farm is on your left hand side after a large storehouse.
By bus
Take bus no. 437 or 439 from Slussen. Some routes are only run from Kolvik. In this case, take bus no. 474 towards Hemmesta, and change to bus no. 437 or 439 in Kolvik. The buses stop at the farm – at the “Siggesta” stop. We recommend that you plan your journey via SL. Call +46 8 600 10 00 or visit the SL website at www.sl.se. The trip takes approx. 40 min. or around 1 hour with bus no. 474 via Gustavsberg and Hemmesta.
By boat
The Siggesta guest harbour, Eke Boat Harbour in Bolviken, is located on the Sandöfjärden route in the Baltic Sea. From here, it is simplest to follow the Kanholmsfjärden route in the inner Stockholm Archipelago.
The guest jetty has space for 3–4 normal sized pleasure craft on each site. One side is padded, the other is not, and there are no mooring buoys at the jetty for guest vessels. There are electrical outlets, but it is best to check them to make sure that they are switched on.
When you have tied up at the jetty, you can follow the rambling trail to the farm. Turn left at the barrier and you will soon see the signs to the farm. The walk takes approx. 10 min.
