Description

Getting married in winter creates a unique atmosphere that is different from other seasons. The tranquility of the courtyard, sparkling snow, frosty trees and cozy warmth with bonfires, marshals and the contrast between inside and outside.

Winter Weddings When It Feels Darkest

As winter settles over Siggesta Gård and the estate is covered in snow, Magic Season offers the perfect backdrop for an atmospheric winter wedding. In the peaceful nature, lit by bonfires, marshals and crackling bonfires, a magical atmosphere is created that will guide you and your guests through an unforgettable evening. The snow-covered views and the crisp winter air create a unique setting where every detail is highlighted.

The wedding ceremony can be held under the open sky, followed by a torch train that takes the company on to the party. Fire baskets and open bonfires become natural gathering points where guests can warm themselves and socialize during the mingle, while the snow creaks underfoot.

With the flexibility to plan both small intimate events and larger parties, you can create a personalized wedding experience that reflects your style. The warmth of the fire and the clear, cold air create a sharp contrast that creates an atmosphere of both closeness and grandeur — perfect for celebrating your big day.

Wedding Ceremony in Orangeriet Autumn & Winter

A suggested arrangement is to hold the wedding ceremony in our Orangery. It sparkles outside and the fire baskets light up, we light the bonfire in the Orangery where you have your wedding in a fantastic setting. You will end with a march-lit walk to the Entrèhuset at Logen, where you will take your bridal toast. A subsequent wedding dinner will be held in the Lodge or maybe Glass & Gott depending on the size of the party.

Food & Beverages

On these festive occasions, food prepared with the fire in focus is served, reinforcing the feeling of closeness to nature. A specially composed menu, inspired by the flavors of the season, gives each party a taste experience beyond the ordinary. Why not start the celebration with a bridal toast around the campfire? Stick out with offering a warm negroni or warm gin & tonic. Food and drinks are adapted to the season.

Appetizer over open fire

Why not invite to something unique like that the appetizer is cooked over an open fire. Good fresh-fried langos and a glass of bubbly or two? It will be a start to the celebration that sets the mood for the evening.

Fire Baskets, Torch Trains & Marchalls

A wintry landscape provides natural opportunities for planning creative elements appropriate to the season. For example, you can arrange torchlight trains to lead guests between the ceremony and the reception, providing an evocative and route through the snow. Outdoor fireplaces or fire baskets can serve as gathering points where guests can warm themselves and enjoy hot drinks during the mingle.

Melike and Atakan's wedding at Siggesta Gård

On a slightly rainy, but beautiful, late summer day in September, a rural and romantic wedding took place at Siggesta Gård. Surrounded by lush paddocks and lush forest, the estate offered a scenic backdrop for the festivities. With its rustic charm and simplicity, the estate created a relaxed atmosphere as guests celebrated the newlywed couple. The courtyard, the rustic wedding venue The Lodge and the rural surroundings created an evocative setting for this big day.

“Our wedding at Siggesta Gård was amazing! Planning was smooth with nice help and a wonderful menu tasting with Ulf. Your responsiveness and helpfulness in the wedding stress was hugely appreciated. The wedding was magical, just everything we wanted! Thank you for making our day extra special.”
